Peltzer Farms - School Tours

PELTZER FARMS SCHOOL TOURS

Peltzer Farms offers school tours for the month of October. Teachers bring your classes out to see what thousands of children experience each year a live farm.

Tours begin Monday, October 1st and run through Wednesday, October 31st. Tours are Monday through Friday only from 9am to 1pm. Book your tour early for guaranteed availability.

What Each Tour Includes:
1.	Corn Maze Visit.
2.	Petting farm fun and educational visit .
3.	Educational tour through the live pumpkins, gourds, sunflowers and specialty squash.
4.	A rare glimpse at our antique John Deere Tractor collection.
5.	A Jack-O-Lantern size pumpkin to take home .
6.	A 16-page informational and fun book to take home .
7.	Shaded picnic area for snacks and lunch.

Tour Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm (the last tour begins at 1 pm)

Prices are as Follows: All children are $8.00 per child. Teachers and supervising adults are free. Any children and/or siblings over 2 years are same as tour price.

Payment: All tours must be paid for in full at time of tour. If you require a purchase order, please plan ahead. There will be no exceptions. please collect all money in advance and bring to front counter at time of tour. If paying by check, make check payable to Peltzer Farms, Inc.

Please do not leave dates and times for tours on the machine. You must speak to a Peltzer Farms representative to book a tour.

Tour Guidelines and Safety
•	Please have your group arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. If you are late for your scheduled time, your tour may be shortened.
•	Tours are to last approximately 1 hour .
•	We suggest children wear long pants and closed toe shoes. This is a real farm, so the proper clothing will help keep the children safe.
•	There is no drinking water available on the farm; Please bring water for the children.
•	We suggest children wear school shirt and name tag; this helps to identify your group.
•	portable toilets with hand washing area available.
•	Shaded picnic area for snacks and lunch.
•	Large picnic area available for lunch or snacks.
•	Handicap access -large parking lot with easy access for buses.

NOTE: Peltzer Train and Pony Rides are available after tour hours and on weekends only.
